Reading Improvement in English

Capuchin Krishik Seva Kendra® working with Volkart Foundation Indian Trust has conducted a training session for remedial teachers of the selected 25 government schools from 11.04.2023 to 15.04.2023 at Vimukti Laila Belthangady. . Fr. Rohan Lobo, Project Manager of the organization initiated the training. 18 teachers benefited from the training sessions. They were taught basic grammar, pronunciation and usage of the language along with rhymes and action songs. Program co-coordinator Mrs.Laveena explained the meanings the selected vocabularies, their spellings, usage of these words in a sentence and their pronunciation.

The teachers were encouraged to converse in English throughout the sessions. Teachers were guided to observe, judge and to give feedback by extempore activity. The assessment was held at the end of the course to know the impact of the sessions. The top scorers and the teachers who were present for all the sessions were honored with a prize.
