Motivational Support for Rural Children towards Higher Education

Capuchin Krishik Seva Kendra®, along with Volkart Foundation Indian Trust, conducted a program of issuing student scholarships for rural children as a motivational support on July 29, 2023. Fr. Rohan Lobo, Assistant Director of CKSK, Program Coordinator Merin, and a parent of the beneficiary, Mrs. Revathi, were on stage. Mrs. Laveena, program coordinator, welcomed all and conducted the program. Mrs. Merin gave the introductory talk and wished all the best to the students. Fr. Rohan Lobo, in his address, encouraged the students to gain higher education with a proper aim. He also advised them to utilize their energy in positive ways and to stay away from anti social activities. 10 students from rural backgrounds benefited from this financial support of Rs. 50.000.
