Today, the environment is influenced more than ever by human
activities. Therefore, our relationship with the environment should
be one of the issues to which humanity should pay attention to.
Pollution, waste and other environmental problems caused by human
activities are increasing every day. Environmental awareness is an
understanding of the environment, the impacts of human behaviors on
it, and the importance of its protection. Regarding this, the
implementation of the “Mission LiFE” program was organized on Monday
14th November 2022 at Asha Kiran IRCA, Jedikatte, Bhadravathi.
The event was presided over by Rev. Fr. Prakash Pinto, Director of
Asha Kiran, accompanied by the Chief guest Mrs. Shubha Harish, M.A.,
M.S., Counselor, Vimalasri Consultation, Bhadravathi.
The program was steered efficiently with an introduction by the MC –
Ms. Elsie D’Souza followed by a welcome speech. The program was
inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, inmate and
support person (visitor).
Mrs. Vinnarasi, nurse invoked God’s blessings through a Bhajan. The
Chief guest Mrs. Shubha Harish enlightened everyone with her
empowering message and motivated everyone to implement effective 75
strategies to protect our environment.
Rev. Fr. Prakash Pinto delivered the presidential address and
stressed on the importance of the “Mission LiFE” and the program
culminated with warm gratitude.
Finally, concluded the program by singing the National Anthem.
