Kesaralli Ondhu Dina/ Kesard Onji Dina Program – A Day amidst the nature

“Nature is the greatest place to learn, to relax and to get healed”. Highlighting the importance of nature Capuchin Krishik Seva Kendra®, Vimukti Self Help Group Federation, Banakal conducted various activities for the children and women in the paddy fields under the title- ‘KesardOnji Dina/ KesarliOndhu Dina’ on 6th of August 2023. Back Race, Rely, Pulling the Areca leaf, Girgit Race, Ballon game, tug of war, treasure hunt were some of the activities held for the children and women. Mr. Jambu Raj Mahajan, PSI of Banakal Police Station inaugurated the event with lighting the Torch. Fr. Lancy Lobo, Capuchin Priest from Banakal, Mrs. Athika Banu, President of Banakal Gram Panchyat, Mrs. Leelavathi, Ex-President of Banakal Gram Panchayat were the chief guests for the inaugural session. Fr. Edwin Dsouza, the Director highlighted the purpose of conducting this event and thanked all who have instruments for the success of this venture. Mrs. Vindhya S., Ms. Faiza, Mr. Siddanth, Mr. Ashok and Ms. Shravani assisted for the entire program Altogether 85 children and 220 women participated in all the games and enjoyed amidst the nature.
