International girl’s day celebration
Marking the
International Day of Girl child which is on October 11th, CKSK
celebrated it on 20th of October. Fr. Edwin Dsouza, the director
said that, “girls play a very important role in our families and
society. We all have to respect them for the great role and
sacrifices they do in their life. Girls need to be educated in order
to understand their rights, to stand against the violation of their
rights and to protect one another from being victims of these
violences.” As a sign of wishing girls of their day a small flower
was offered to all the girls numbering 46. Altogether 74Vimukti Club
Children were present.
