Training to School Development and Monitoring Committee

Capuchin KrishikSeva Kendra along with Volkart Foundation Indian Trust organized a training session for School Development and Monitoring Committee members of the selected 25 schools of Belthangady Taluka on 27.10.2023 at Vimukti hall. The Director of CKSK, Fr. Vinod Mascarenhas in his address said that the internal beauty that is the education of the children is more important than the external beauty of the school building. The assistant director, Fr. Rohan Lobo gave the introductory talk.
Mr. Ramesh, the Cluster Resource Person of Bangady cluster and Head Master of Killur Government School, shared information on resource mobilization for school development. He also talked on how to reduce absenteeism in schools. The Panchayat Development Officer of Mithabagilu Panchayat addressed on the facilities available at panchayat level for the development of schools and various ways to access them. The SDMC President of Koranja Government school, Mr. Harish Kumar guided all the participants on how a school can be upgraded to a model school. Almost 50 members attended the programme. Mrs. Laveena delivered vote of thanks.
