Kuwait Canara Welfare
Association (KCWA) with the motto “In pursuit of providing education
to the poor children” started its mega higher educational loan
program under the banner “Suvidya” in the year 2018 for Catholic
students domiciled in the Diocese of Mangalore only. Capuchin
Krishik Seva Kendra (CKSK) being the partner NGO implements this
program every year. So far 139 students have benefitted from this
program.

Following would be
Rules and Regulations for the year

Students
eligibility
-
Minimum
qualification required to apply for Suvidya Education loan
is SSLC.
-
Students
applying for correspondence courses, part time courses,
private studies and specific job courses at tutorials are
NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for this loan. This loan is only for
those students pursuing regular degrees or diplomas.

Only Catholic
students domiciled in Mangalore Diocese must apply.
-
The student
must have received or applied the Government scholarship for
minorities.
-
Incomplete or
misrepresented applications will be rejected without notice.

Application submission process
-
Students who
desire to apply for Suvidya Education loan must go to the
website www.capuchinksk.org and download the application
form and take a print.
-
The form must
be duly filled by the applicant and send us through post
with all the required documents.
-
The last date
to receive the applications with the supporting documents is
30th JUNE every year.
The Suvidya executive committee supervising the loan
disposal is the final authority for approval and
disbursement of loans. The committee reserves the right to
reject any application that in its view is not genuine, not
deserving and incomplete without providing any explanation
to the applicant.
